About Home in Place
Dignity, Purpose, and Self-Determination
At Home In Place, we believe that every stage of life offers meaningful opportunities for growth, connection, and joy. Our community is made up of Villagers (age 60+) who receive services to help maintain their independence, and Supporting or Sustaining Members who share a commitment to fostering fellowship and engagement.
We organize social gatherings, workshops, and cultural outings, open to all members, to cultivate a sense of belonging and purpose. Dedicated volunteers offer personalized support to our Villagers, assisting with transportation, minor household repairs, technology help, and friendly check-ins. Our director coordinates these services, ensuring each Villager is matched with the right volunteer to meet their unique needs.
Our Villages are…
...innovative, grassroots organizations that are both member-driven and self-governing, empowering individuals to shape their community.
